Our Senior Room enjoyed a wonderful day at the Ulster American Folk Park, where we met up with our friends from schools in County Derry, County Donegal and County Antrim.![]()
It was a fascinating journey through history as the children explored what life was like during the Great Famine, discovered the challenges families faced, and learned about the difficult decision many made to emigrate to America in search of a better life.![]()
The pupils were inspired by the resilience, determination and creativity of people in the past, seeing firsthand how they built homes, made everyday items, and adapted to the resources available to them. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring history to life through hands-on experiences and storytelling.![]()

Our pupils embraced every challenge and adventure with enthusiasm, courage and plenty of laughter. From kayaking on the water, conquering the climbing wall, to an epic four-way tug of war, there was something for everyone to enjoy.![]()
The excitement continued with archery, obstacle courses, pier jumping, muddy slides that left lots of smiling faces, and peaceful nature walks, where we explored the beautiful surroundings. ![]()

🎓✨ 6th Class Graduation & Ceremony of Light ✨🎓![]()
Today we celebrated our wonderful 6th Class Graduation. A sincere thank you to Fr. Sean for leading our beautiful prayer service and helping us mark this important milestone.![]()
A special part of the ceremony was the Ceremony of Light, where our 6th Class pupils passed their light on to 5th Class, symbolising the passing of responsibility, leadership and example to those who will now step into their role within our school community.![]()

We were also delighted to position our new sundial in our Creative Space today. A huge thank you to the talented parent who beautifully crafted it and took the time this morning to explain how it should be positioned and how to read it correctly. It was a wonderful learning experience for everyone involved.![]()
Now all we need is a little sunshine! ☀️ We look forward to using our sundial and watching it become a special feature of our Creative Space for years to come.
