Our pupils from Junior Infants to 2nd Class had a wonderful educational trip today as part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations. We visited the local library, where the children enjoyed Bingo and scéalta through Gaeilge. It was a fantastic opportunity to practise our cúpla focal while having great fun together.Afterwards, we took a trip to the fire station, where the children learned all about the important work firefighters do to keep our communities safe. They even got a look at the fire engine and some of the equipment used in emergencies.One thing we discovered today… Mr. Walsh would make a great fireman! 🚒A brilliant day of learning, Gaeilge and community connections for our younger classes.
