Wishing our very own Coach Philip Bohan and all the Templeport team the very best of luck in Sunday's final! 🏆🏐 We are incredibly proud of our past pupils representing Templeport on the senior team. It’s wonderful to see them continuing to shine on the football field!We also wish the Templeport U17 team the very best of luck in their upcoming final. We are so proud of all our past pupils involved! 👏 Big thank you to Corlough GAA Club, Corlough, Co Cavan and Templeport St Aidan's GAA for buying our pupils tickets for the final. We were delighted to welcome artist Andrea Mullen Suas Art Studio, who helped the children create beautiful lanterns which will form part of Tom Meskell’s The Sleeping Giant installation, celebrating 300 years of Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels and its special connection with Swanlinbar. There were plenty of tractors making an appearance on our lanterns! 🚜The children will have the opportunity if they wish, to visit the installation and spot their own lanterns on the night, which will make it extra special. ✨🌟 The Sleeping Giant will be on display at Urney Church of Ireland, Cavan Town, on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th October, from 5.00–7.30 p.m. It is a free family event as part of Cultúr 2026 – see the poster for full details. 🎶 CEOL AGUS CRAIC IS BACK! 🎶☘️We’re delighted to welcome everyone back after our summer break for another evening of Ceol agus Craic at Corlough Community Centre! 🎻🪕🎶If you’ve learnt some new tunes over the summer, we’d love to hear them at our session! And if you haven’t played in a while, why not dust off your instrument, bring it along and join in? Everyone is welcome, adult or child, whatever your level. ❤️Or simply come along, sit back and enjoy listening to some great traditional Irish music and soak up the atmosphere.📍 Corlough Community Centre📅 Sunday 27th September⏰ 5–6pm💶 €2 per person / €5 per family🎶 All musicians welcome!We’re looking forward to getting the tunes going again and seeing lots of familiar faces — and some new ones too! 🍂 Another week has flown by! 🍂We enjoyed plenty of activity with football and athletics with Coach Philip, along with some lovely autumn artwork. 🎨🍁 The children also took inspiration from our surroundings, drawing the beautiful vista of Cuilcagh. ⛰️ Even with the rain, we’re very lucky to have such beautiful scenery right on our doorstep! 🌧️💚Bainaigí taitneamh as an deireadh seachtaine! ☘️
