Our school is blessed to be involved in Creative Connections. Over the past three days, our pupils have fully immersed themselves in a wonderful dance workshop residency, embracing movement, expression, and imagination. It was truly inspiring to see the children step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and work collaboratively as they explored creativity through dance.![]()
A very special thank you to our talented creative practitioner Ayesha, who did a fantastic job bringing our ideas and creativity to life. Her energy, encouragement, and expertise made the experience both engaging and empowering for all of our pupils. Dance provides such valuable benefits for children — supporting wellbeing, self-expression, teamwork, coordination, and confidence — and this residency beautifully showcased those positives.![]()
We are also delighted that Ayeesha will be checking back in with us on Zoom to see how our dances have evolved! 💃🏽CreativeIrl National Arts in Education #CreativeConnections![]()

As you’re all aware, litter is a big issue in our area. After our AGM, it was agreed that the Club would get involved and try to help keep this to a minimum.![]()
We’re organising a litter pick this Saturday morning @ 9am. Please meet at the club rooms. Litter pickers and high-vis vests will be provided.![]()
This will be a good way to get started and to put a plan in place for future clean-ups in the parish![]()
For everyone’s safety, please make sure to collect a high-vis vest and check in at the club rooms before heading off.

We had a very special morning in St. Patrick’s N.S., Corlough as we gathered for a prayer service celebrating St. Brigid and St. Mogue.![]()
It was a privilege to welcome Bishop Martin and Fr. Seán, who joined us in prayer and reflection. As part of the celebration, the children proudly presented Bishop Martin and Fr. Seán with St. Brigid’s Day crosses, a symbol of faith, protection and community.![]()
A sincere thank you to Mrs. Ann Maguire, who visited us on Thursday, engaging with pupils and staff on religious education. She also helped the children make St. Brigid’s Day crosses, adding greatly to the richness of the experience. We were delighted that Bishop Martin blessed the crosses today, making the occasion even more meaningful for our school community.
A beautiful reminder of the values of faith, kindness and tradition that we cherish in our school. We are so proud of our pupils and how they prepared for today with their readings, music and thought provoking questions. Ar aghaigh linn le chéile faoi bhrat Bhríde😊🙏
